Alzheimer Society – Windsor Essex County

The Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County is dedicated to serving those with Alzheimer’s disease, and related dementia and their caregivers in the community.  There are currently over 6100 people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia in Windsor and Essex County.  It is projected that these numbers will double within 25 years.

Canterbury ElderCollege – Windsor

Canterbury College is a not for profit charitable corporation in the business of providing education and residence opportunities for students. As an affiliate college of the University of Windsor, Canterbury plays an important role in the recruitment of students, both international and domestic.

Canadian Hearing Society

Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) is a non-profit organization and the leading provider of services, products, and information that remove barriers to communication, advance hearing health, and promote equity for people who are culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing.  CHS is governed by a board of directors, the majority of whom are culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing.

Employment Assessment Centre – Kingsville

Offers individual employment counselling, workshops, supports for employment and training, employer incentives, GED training, and Second Career. We take pride in helping our clients achieve their employment and training goals and find meaningful work.

The Hospice of Windsor-Essex County

The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc. stands as a symbol of hope, providing compassionate care designed to enhance quality of life. It is the first community-based palliative hospice village in North America. Founded in 1979 by Reverend Canon Paul Chidwich address compassionate end of life care, the Hospice has expanded into our current Hospice Village.

Windsor-Essex Community Health Centre

Windsor Essex Community Health Centre (WE CHC) was formed as a result of the amalgamation of Teen Health and Sandwich Community Health Centres in 2009. As a community Health Centre their Mission is to support the health and wellness of our vulnerable population in everything we do.

Windsor Essex Compassion Care Community

We are a Coalition of more than 300 champions and 100+ agencies and associations from education, health care, social services, municipal, cultural, faith, business, non-profit, volunteer and informal sectors. We cross all levels of government, with federal; provincial, regional, county, and municipal involvement and support. We represent the full human service continuum – including hospice, dementia, hospital, home and community care, long-term care homes, and physicians – as well as social services and education partners.
